Is LovePanda Legit? Company, Payments and Reclame AQUI

It's a fair question. You're paying for something you can't hold, uploading personal photos and handing a link to the person you love. Instead of asking you to take our word for it, this page shows where to check each piece of information, including outside our own site.

Checklist: what to check before you buy

Who is behind LovePanda?

LovePanda is the brand of LOVEPANDA LTDA, CNPJ 60.623.888/0001-40, from Pires do Rio, in the state of Goiás, Brazil. This is the company that sells the gifts and handles support; the CNPJ (Brazil's company registration number) appears in the site footer and in the terms. You can check its registration status on the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service website by entering the number. More about the team is on the About page.

The company makes two digital gifts for couples: the Couple Retrospective, in animated stories, and the Couple Album, a book you flip through on screen. According to the company, more than 200K gifts have been created so far.

Is paying on LovePanda safe?

Payments go through a specialized payment provider. According to the terms, when you pay by card, the full card number and security code are processed by the provider and aren't stored on LovePanda's servers. The site uses an HTTPS connection, and account passwords are protected with hashing.

It's a one-time payment: no subscription, no monthly fee and no recurring charges. Check the total and the plan conditions on the checkout screen before you confirm; that's where the available payment methods and the final amounts are shown.

What does Reclame AQUI show about LovePanda?

Reclame AQUI is Brazil's best-known platform for consumer complaints about companies. LovePanda is listed there as a verified company (“RA Verificada”), and the Brazilian site lovepanda.com.br shows the badge in its footer. According to Reclame AQUI's guide, the verification confirms that the company exists and involves periodic checks on its data and customer-service criteria. It's a verification badge, which is different from a reputation score.

On LovePanda's Reclame AQUI profile (in Portuguese), you can see the complaints, the company's replies and the indicators for each period. When we checked on Oct 1, 2026, the profile showed a verified company with a validated CNPJ and 20 complaints in the 12-month period ending Aug 31, 2026, all of them answered. No reputation score was shown yet, because Reclame AQUI only calculates it once a company has a minimum number of rated complaints in the period. A tip that works for any store: read the most recent complaints and check whether they were answered and resolved. That tells you more than a single number.

What if I don't like it? How refunds work

The Terms of Use (linked in the site footer) offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase if you're not satisfied with the product or run into a technical issue the team can't resolve. The terms also say that opening the gift doesn't, on its own, cancel this guarantee, and that it doesn't limit your rights under applicable law; consumers living in the European Union also have a 14-day right of cancellation from the order confirmation. To request a refund:

1. Write to support@lovepanda.co or message the official Instagram @lovepanda.ofic.
2. Include the email you used to buy and, if you have it, the gift link.
3. The team finds the order and processes the refund. How long it takes to show up depends on your payment method and your bank.

On the support page you'll find the site chat, the fastest way to reach the team, and the support email.

What you get (and what you don't)

Once your payment is confirmed, you get a link and a QR Code. Your person opens it in their phone or computer browser, with no app to install and no account to create. Before that, you build the gift and check the preview; the gift goes live after payment.

• Couple Retrospective: Wrapped-style animated stories built from what you fill in: your names, the day it all began, your song, photos and a letter. Inside are parts like the minutes together counting live, your song on a cassette tape, the day-one quiz and your next big milestone. It stays online for 24 hours on the For 24 hours plan, or forever on the Forever plan, and you can upgrade a 24-hour gift to Forever later from your dashboard.
• Couple Album: a digital book with pages that turn in 3D, your letter in a wax-sealed envelope, “Open when…” letters, a scratch card, a jigsaw puzzle and more. It stays online forever on both plans; the plan only decides how long you can keep editing (Edit for 1 Day or Edit Forever).
• Photos: each part has its own photo limit, and the limits are the same on every plan.
• Nothing physical: LovePanda doesn't print or ship anything. It's a digital gift from start to finish.
• Music: it comes from a YouTube link you choose. The Retrospective is inspired by the year-end recaps of music apps, but it has no connection to Spotify.

Here's how the gift works from the inside:

Or open the real examples, exactly as your person will receive them: the Retrospective demo and the Album demo.

Are my photos safe?

According to the terms, photos are stored on Amazon (S3) and Cloudflare (R2) servers, with restricted access. The gift, however, opens by link: anyone with the link can see it. So send the link or QR Code only to the person you want to see it. The Privacy Policy, linked in the site footer, explains what data is processed and how to ask for it to be deleted.

How to avoid scams, on LovePanda or any other site

• Check the address: the official sites are lovepanda.co (international) and lovepanda.com.br (Brazil), and a gift link always sits on one of these domains. Be wary of variations of the name.
• Pay only at the site's own checkout, and check the total before confirming.
• Your person never pays anything: the gift opens in the browser, with no sign-up and no request for bank details. If someone asks for money to “unlock” a gift, be suspicious.
• Use the official channels: support@lovepanda.co, Instagram @lovepanda.ofic and TikTok @lovepanda.ofco.

From order to opened gift

The path is short: you choose between the Couple Retrospective and the Couple Album, fill in your names, date, song, photos and letter, check the preview, pay once and get the link and QR Code.
